Hmmm...I can smell the wine stock I poured over the beef to slow cook in the oven, whiffing through the house...
I thought I would share some spring flowers growing in my garden at the moment.
Enjoy!
It's so nice to see some color in my garden again and to potter around in it. I love gardening.
My birch trees are sprouting new leaves too...My mother in law kindly gave me a whole little "glade" of birch trees! I have my very own teeny tiny little glade!! *sigh*

Beautiful pictures, Bonnie. What is that first, blue flower? It's gorgeous.
Funny, just the opposite is happening in my garden...a definite fall feel (and temperature) this morning here!
Have a great day!
Angela
Lovely photos and I laughed at your "glade of birch trees" comment...too cute! It's still great weather here in the South...so much better than my week last week at my Mum's in the North...I just can't take the cold anymore...lol
It's always a little strange, our reversal of seasons, we are starting to see fall leaves turning colour, and they are forecasting the first frosts this weekend. Love pansies and always enjoy the hardy little faces, but hate to see my geraniums go too. Hoping for another bunch of roses with the cool weather. Nice to hear from you Bonnie.
so lovely to see your pretty spring flowers bon, esp when my summer flowers are fading. in a week or two i shall be planting all my bulbs - sowing the hearts of next springs flowers! (pitched the phrase from an article i read! heehee!)
our birch trees have shed there tiny seeds and they are everywhere. I found a scattering of them in my bathroom, and around the loo!! (blown in from the window) and in the bath!! but they are such lovely trees, how nice to have your own glade! I love how they ripple and rustle in the wind.
Hope you have a lovely w/end with just you & little E.
Thanks for the lovely email reply too.
Love Em Xx
